The Vaishnodevi Shrine

You must have seen and visited a lot of temples in your life. The thoughts of each person’s visit to the temple are the same, to pray and get blessings from all mighty. But there are some temples in the world which are very special, for some specific reasons.

One of them, is the Vaishnodevi Temple, in Jammu and Kashmir which is known majorly for its unique architecture and design. The main reason why this temple is special is the presence of the body of Bhairo Nath who was killed by the goddess with a Trishul(trident). There is a katra in the starting where you must stay for a night before the great walk to the temple. After some time, when the Sun rises in the early morning, the journey starts, with approximately 740 steps to climb. After climbing, comes the Ardh Kuwari which is also known as the resting place after the tiring walk. People can eat there as well. Then is the continuation of the long walk to the first temple. People pray there and after that, is the Bhairo Nath. You can reach these major destinations like the Bhairo Nath and Ardh Kuwari by a helicopter. These blessings in the temple are very valuable for all the visitors.
